High-Speed Trains
China's high-speed rail network is the world's largest, covering over 42,000 km. Trains can reach speeds of 350 km/h, making them faster than flights for distances under 1,000 km.

- Beijing to Shanghai: 4.5 hours
- Beijing to Xi'an: 4.5 hours
- Shanghai to Hangzhou: 45 minutes
- Guangzhou to Shenzhen: 30 minutes

- Book 15 days in advance for popular routes

Metro Systems
Major cities have extensive metro networks. They're affordable, efficient, and the best way to navigate urban areas.
