Visa Types

L Visa (Tourist)

For tourism purposes. Typically valid for single or double entry for 3 months. Maximum stay varies by entry.

M Visa (Business)

For business activities including trade, visits, and exhibitions. Usually valid for 6-12 months with multiple entries.

F Visa (Exchange)

For academic exchanges, studies, or internships. Requires invitation from Chinese educational institution.

Q Visa (Family Reunion)

For visits to family members who are Chinese citizens or permanent residents.

Required Documents

  • Valid passport (6+ months validity, 2 blank pages)
  • Completed visa application form (Form V.2013)
  • Passport-sized photo (white background)
  • Invitation letter or itinerary
  • Round-trip flight confirmation
  • Hotel reservation (first night)
